We are hiring a Microservice Software Engineer with Java, Spring Boot, and REST API experience to build scalable backend systems in an Agile environment.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Degree in Information System, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
- At least 5 years of experience in Java / J2EE application design, development, implementation and maintenance;
- Must have experience in Backend Development such as Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, Hibernate, JPA , REST, JSON;
- Must have understanding on tools such as Jenkins, Git/Stash, Bitbucket, JIRA, Maven, SonarQube;
- Proficient programming skills in Java, JavaScript, JSF, Restful Web Services;
- Experience in designing and implementing microservices using Java, Spring Boot;
- Proficient in use of code versioning tools, such as GIT;
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Deployment (CICD) processes for efficient web deployment;
- Experience in using Kafka, IBM MQ, Rabbit MQ;
- Experience in relational databases like Oracle and MS SQL;
- Good verbal and communication skills..
Desirable Skill(s)
- Knowledge in Linux/Unix environments and basic commands;
- Familiar with Microservice architecture.
Responsibilities
- Develops software solutions by studying requirements, collaborating with users, and analyzing systems flow, data usage, and work processes;
- Engages in software design, programming, and testing for new applications, following the software development lifecycle;
- Adhere to coding standards, ensuring high-quality, maintainable code with comprehensive unit and integration testing;
- Design and develop APIs in a micro-service based architecture;
- Conduct software integration testing and assist with system-level testing to ensure robust application performance;
- Provides software enhancement, improvement, and troubleshooting for existing systems;
- Collaborate with other team engineers to integrate software components, system infrastructure, and third part components;
- Ensures delivery of results meeting requirement specifications with a focus on high-quality and customer satisfaction.
