Java Software Developer

We are seeking a skilled Java Software Developer to join a core strategic project for a reputed bank, focused on building a cutting-edge digital platform for syndicated markets 

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Java ecosystem with strong understanding of system design, development, testing, and deployment;
• Must have hands-on experience with Vue.js or AngularJS;
• Must have experience in developing web services using REST and gRPC;
• Proficient in Maven, Git, Jenkins, and GitLab CI;
• Good understanding and practical application of design patterns;
• Hands-on experience in Agile project environments;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or WebSphere MQ;
• General understanding of corporate and investment banking, particularly in the financing domain.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test software components based on functional specifications;
• Collaborate with technical leads to propose and develop scalable design solutions;
• Guide and support junior developers to ensure high-quality code delivery;
• Perform code reviews and participate in peer programming practices;
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve technical issues escalated to the team;
• Maintain clear documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory and project standards;
• Work closely with cross-functional teams across Paris and Singapore to align deliverables.
