Business Analyst – Risk Management

We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to support Trading and Credit Risk systems by gathering requirements, performing testing, and ensuring effective system delivery. The role also involves collaboration on data and digital initiatives within the risk domain. 

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Bachelor's Degree in Banking, Financial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field;
• Must have 2 – 4 years of experience in business analysis;
• Must have proficiency in SQL, Excel, and object-oriented programming concepts;
• Experience working with both business and technology teams to define system requirements;
• Good understanding of Trading and Credit Risk (e.g., Pre-Settlement, Settlement, Issuer, and Country Risk);
• Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Knowledge of AI and machine learning frameworks;
• Exposure to data science projects.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze requirements from business and risk teams, and provide clear specifications for system implementation;
• Review system and functional designs to ensure they meet business needs;
• Create test plans and test cases to validate system deliverables;
• Conduct UAT, regression, simulation testing, and live verifications;
• Manage timelines and ensure deliverables are completed as scheduled;
• Collaborate with digital and business intelligence teams on data models and reporting initiatives within the risk domain.
