We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Application Engineer (Oracle PL/SQL) to develop, implement, and support database-driven applications and reporting solutions for Computer Integrated Manufacturing systems.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field;
- Must have at least two years of experience in Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) systems.or related automation solutions;
- Must have experience in using Oracle PL/SQL;
- Must have strong working experience in UNIX/Linux scripting;
- Independent and proactive yet a strong team player;
- Provide support to maintain 24×7 uptime for CIM applications and databases;
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Experience in JAVA development;
- Experience in MES, TIB/RV and shop floor automation.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for designing and refining database models and schemas to support CIM operations;
- Develop custom applications and automation scripts to enhance database functionality and efficiency;
- Optimize the data workflows and ensuring that backend processes run seamlessly and support real-time operations;
- Collaborate cross-functionally with IT teams and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with organizational goals;
- Design and deliver reporting solutions and interfaces that transform raw data into meaningful business insights;
- Partner with infrastructure teams to monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain peak performance of CIM systems with a focus on high availability;
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying system bottlenecks and recommending enhancements.
