Java Tech Lead

We are looking for a Java Technical Lead the projects for developing and maintaining payment acquisition systems for an esteemed bank..

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Must have 10 years of experience in Java/J2EE development;
• Must have 5+ years of experience in big data technologies such as Hadoop, HDFS, HBase, Ignite, Storm;
• Must have proficiency in Core Java (Java 8+), OOAD, TDD/BDD development;
• Experience with Kafka, Maven, Git, CI/CD pipelines;
• Knowledge of test automation frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber;
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies;
• Experience in production support and issue resolution;
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Experience with DevOps practices and cloud environments;
• Basic understanding of finance, payments, and investment banking domains;
• Familiarity with Kibana or other log monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive software and product development initiatives;
• Design and architect robust, scalable, and maintainable systems;
• Review and approve technical specifications, solution designs, and code;
• Deliver software in line with the organization’s quality standards and development guidelines;
• Facilitate integration testing and coordinate software delivery;
• Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation;
• Drive technical discussions and recommend best practice solutions;
• Work closely with Product Owners, Project Managers, BAs, and developers to align business goals with technical execution;
• Provide support for production systems and ensure issue resolution;
• Maintain autonomy in task delivery while staying in sync with the broader project team.
